Abstract: This observational study aimed to see the efficacy of homeopathic remedy Sulphur in the management of Cercosporaarachidiola in Arachis hypogeae. This study includes control set (A1, A2) and experimental set (A3, A4,A5,A6,A7). Every set contain 3 plants each. All sets were germinated at the same time, afterwards cultured fungus was introduced into experimental sets (5n) at the time of flowering stage, and then all the plants affected with the tikka disease, in this set A3 treated with fungicide and disease got cured within 3 weeks but there was recurrence within 2 days; recurrency is noticed throughout lifespan. In case of diseased plant treated with the SULPHUR dilution 30, 200 and 1M there is disease improved within 2 week, 4 week and 5 week respectively and there were no recurrence and also there is no wilting of leaves noticed in diseased plants treated with SULPHUR. There is not much improvement noted in plants treated with ethanol alone there is slight improvement during 10th week. Mealy bug affection noticed in set A4 (ethanol) and A5 (SULPHUR 30) at 12 week. Finally the plant were harvested and nuts were collected; among that small sized nuts were present in set A3 (fungicide) and mature seeds were present in set A7 (SULPHUR 1M). Quality and Quantity were more in SULPHUR 1M set. From this experimental study it is explained that tikka diseases which affecting the groundnut was best treated with the SULPHUR 1M. Foliar spraying is cost effective and easy method to treat fungal disese in leaves.
