Abstract: This observational study aimed to see the efficacy of homeopathic remedy Sulphur in the management of Downy Mildew in Spinaceaoleracea. A prospective, random trail based, multi-centre observational study was conducted at the Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College premises from February, 2019 – April, 2019. The ultimate aim of this research was to check the effectiveness of Sulphur 30C and 12X in treating Downy Mildew in Spinaciaoleracea and to check, which out of the two potencies acts the best. Also, to check the effectiveness of Soaking Method in providing resistance to the plant from the development of the Downy Mildew disease and to check the cogency of Fumigation Method in showing action on controlling the appearance of Downy Mildew on Spinach leaves. Two potencies of Sulphur, i.e., Sulphur 30C and Sulphur 12X were used in this study. To conduct the study two methods, namely Soaking and Fumigation method were used as methods to induce medication into the plants. The study was broadly divided into 3 sets with each set containing 3 subsets of Spinach grown under various research parameters, making it a total of 9 subsets. The first set contained spinach seeds soaked in Sulphur 30C, the second set contained seeds soaked in Sulphur 12X and the third set contained seeds left unsoaked which was the control set. First subset in each set contained plants grown in normal condition, second subset in each set contained plants infected and grown using in-vitro culture fungus and third subset under each set contained plants infected and grown with Sulphur introduced by fumigation method. The samples were given for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
