A Comparative study on the Effectiveness of Azadirachta Indica 30 with Neem Oil in Vigna Unguiculata infested with Spodoptera Litura

Abstract

The aim of the study was to find out the action of Homoeopathic medicine, Azadirachta indica Q, Azadirachta indica 30 & neem oil as a pesticide for Spodoptera litura and to assess whether Azadirachta indica Q, Azadirachta indica 30 and neem oil can disturb the life cycle of Spodoptera litura by slowing down the development Of the pest. The study was conducted at the Research lab in Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College. For the experiment the third instar Spodoptera litura larva were taken and separated into 6 treatments - Control, Azadirachta indica Q, Azadirachta indica 30, Neem oil, Soap solution & Ethanol. (Whereas soap solution & ethanol was added to remove the bias). The development of the larva was measured with a pre-designed formula.The obtained data was analyzed using annova test.
