An Experimental study to evaluate the action of Camphora Mothertincture on Photosynthesis impaired leaves of Solanum Lycopersicum

Abstract

This observational study aimed to see the efficacy of homeopathic remedy camphora Qtoevaluate the action of camphora mothertincture on photosynthesis impaired leaves of solanum lycopersicum. A prospective, random trail based, multi-centre observational study was conducted at the Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College premises from February, 2019 – April, 2019. The main aim of this study was to analyze the chlorophyll content, pesticidal action, growth rate, and yield of photosynthesis impaired leaves of Solanum lycopersicum by using Camphora Mother Tincture. The Camphora Mother Tincture ten drops of 100 ml water are sprayed over the leaves of Solanum lycopersicum. Thirty sets of plants were taken. Set A plants grown without medication at sunlight, Set B were grown under shadow and Set C were grown under balcony. Set B and C were grown using camphor mother tincture by foliar spraying method was done 3 times per day for alternate two days interval. Finally the three sets were compared. Set C plants showed better growth, increased chlorophyll content and yielding of fruits. As a result, there was a significant decrease in the number of pest and their colonies in the set of plants which were sprayed with medicines. Thus camphor mother tincture was found to be highly effective in increasing the chlorophyll content, yield, growth and also as pesticide.
