Helicobacter pylori is a small Gram-negative, non sporing, microaerophilic, slow growing bacterium with high tropism for gastric epithelium where it causes long term colonization of the gastric mucosa.[1,2]Almost 50% of human population of the world are infected with Helicobacter pylori according to several epidemiology studies.
