| Abstract: | The season of rains is here again and along with it there are host of infectious and vector borne diseases that are prevalent during this season. Since the 1980s, Kerala has had a series of outbreaks of diseases - dengue, leptospirosis, typhoid, dysentery, cholera, viral hepatitis and malaria etc. in addition to the common monsoon ailments like common cold, influenza and diarrhea. |
