Abstract: Stroke (ischemic and haemorrhagic) is the second leading cause of death worldwide. It is also one of the leading causes of adult disability. Stroke rates are higher in Asian and black African populations than in Caucasians. Stroke risk increases with age but one-quarter of all strokes occur before the age of 65. The death rate following stroke is 20–25%. Homoeopathic medicines are available for managing the hemiplegia cases of Post CVA. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of Homoeopathic Treatment along with Physiotherapy in the management of Hemiplegia after CVA.
Description: Homoeopathic medicines along with physiotherapy was found to be effective in managing cases of Post CVA- Hemiplegia.
