| Abstract: | A group of 18 wistar albino rats were induced with fever by injecting Baker’s yeast intraperitoneally, then Group 1 received normal saline and served as control group, Group 2 received Paracetamol 100mg/kg for every 4 hours and Group 3 received 5 drops of freshly prepared Arsenicum Album 200 for 4hourly. And temperature of all the rat models were noted every hourly. General blood parameters were analyzed before and after the administration of drug. And Arsenicum Album 200 is found to be effective in controlling fever when compared with the standard paracetamol with respect to the mentioned parameters.The study is statistically significant with a p value <0.5. |
