Abstract: Anxiety is the state /feeling nervous/worried that something bad is going to happen acute or intense or deep according to oxford collocations dictionary. The evaluation of the anxious patient reqiures,the clinician should determine whether the anxiety antedates/postdates a medical illness.Almost one third of patients presenting with anxiety have a medical aetiology,but an anxiety disorder can also present with somatic symptoms in the absence of diagnosable medical condition..
