Abstract: | Acute otitis media (AOM) is a very common condition and a leading cause of health care visits and antibiotic prescription. Homoeopathy being an effective system of medicine possesses a better scope for the treatment of acute otitis media as it reduces the complications and prevents its recurrence by permanent restoration of health. While prescribing for a homoeopathic medicine, there must be a standardization of prescribing the remedies as well as their potencies. This study aims for the standardization of prescribing potency for a medicine through quantification of nature of susceptibility with acute otitis media (AOM) and to study the effectiveness of medicine prescribed based on this. The study also implies to find out the common remedies indicated for acute otitis media. |
Description: | The potency selection obtained after the assessment of susceptibility of the patients to the homoeopathic management of acute otitis media is very effective. |
