| Abstract: | The research was aimed to substantiate the effectiveness of Hyoscyamus niger in handling the maniac phase of bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder is a common psychiatric condition commonly expressed through vague signs and symptoms. The symptoms vary extensively from depression to violent mania. Conventional mode of treatment lacks a proper treatment methodology. This medicine is found to be useful in the treatment of bipolar disorders due to its similarity in the symptomatology with the disease |
