Homoeopathy can be a useful approach in cancer. It is being widely used as palliative and curative in cancerous patients. Various studies have reported the effects of homoeopathic medicines in the management of cancer cases. It was found that beneficial effects of Homoeopathic medicines are reported on some cancer cell lines via apoptosis and immune modulation.In another study it states that in the group of people having mammary carcinoma given with mistletoe extract (Viscum album), several symptoms more frequently disappeared, and the overall estimated survival was significantly longer than control group
