The efficacy of Homoeopathic Medicines in Children with secondary Nocturnal Enuresis.en_US
Nocturnal enuresis, commonly known as bed wetting. Usually, at the age of 5 voluntary control of micturition is expected, if a child continues to have involuntary voiding even after 5 years of age at night-time, that condition is termed as nocturnal enuresis. Out of 100 nocturnal enuresis cases approaching a hospital, 75 - 90 have primary type of nocturnal enuresis and the remaining 10 - 25 cases are secondary nocturnal enuresis. In case of primary nocturnal enuresis, child would have never achieved nocturnal voluntary control, whereas in secondary nocturnal enuresis child was dry at night for the past 6 months in past, later he/she developed nocturnal enuresis. Secondary nocturnal enuresis is mainly caused by emotional disturbances which doesn’t include any organic causes. Bed wetting caries a significant burden for both affected child & parents.en_US
