Abstract: In this study, the germination rate of seeds, those are soaked in Psorinum showed 5 times higher germination rate at 5th day and at the end of 15th day, 89% of seeds soaked in Psorinum germinated, whereas only 56% of unsoaked seeds showed germination. The mean length of S1 was 50.34cm and S2 was 42.4cm and lowest mean length was found in sets S5 and S6 which was 37.4 each. The increased shoot width was seen in S1 plants followed by S2 and the lowest shoot width was found in S4 and S6. The number of leaves in sets S2 and S5 (Psorinum dripped weekly) are seen with more number of leaves when compared to the sets S3 and S6 (left undisturbed). Biochemical components of leaves such as protein, carbohydrate were studied and was found varied in leaves and different treatment. Protein was high in S1 and low in S6; whereas carbohydrate was high in S2 than S1. Chlorophyll contents such as chlorophyll a,b and total is increased in plants with daily dripping of Psorinum. When the fruit content was studied, nutrition content determined in terms of vitamin C was found high in S1 plants than in untreated S6 plant. Thus the plant yield is measured and justified by quality of leaves and fruit of the treated plant, and is compared to untraeted plants.
