Abstract: In a sample of 30 cases with secretory otitis media it is found that,it is mostly distributed in age group 11-20 and 21-30 years,cold air exposure is the main aetiology of secretory otitis media,ear pain and discharge,hearing difficulty,itching were the most common presentation,other symptoms were verigo,tinitus,fever and the application of homoeopathic medicines on the basis of symptoms similarity can improve the condition.The most frequently indicated remedy in this study were Merc. sol and Pulsatilla.
